ABOUT DIG&MIG;
My name is Marianne Norup and I am the owner of Dig&Mig which I started in the spring of
2009 in Holland.
I am born in Denmark, but have been living in Holland since 1995. In Holland I followed an
education as a fashion designer at the academy ‘Montaigne’ in Amsterdam. In Denmark I
have completed an education as a sewing operator by the fashion center ‘Tekocenteret’ in
Herning. Next to that I have completed an education as an nursery teacher in Amsterdam
together with working for 5 years in a nursery.
Those two very different educations brought my two big passions together and has now
become a webshop with unique products for small children / baby’s.
All my products in the webshop I make my selve. I prefer to work with 100% cotton with a lot
of colors and lovely patterns. My inspiration mostly comes from old toys which my mother
saved for me from my own childhood. I like to give it a new life or use it as an inspiration for
new and exciting products.
My products are very often first tested by my own two children. I have two girls which love to
interfere and tell me what they like or dislike. If they would have the chance, they would take
all the handmade products up to their own room!
